Alright, let’s put that aside and talk about my Ipoh trip for now. Ipoh may appear as a small town but it has more than meets the eyes. Our daily routine in Ipoh are none other than eat, camwhore, play, and again camwhore more, play hard and eat extra harder!! Let’s check on what Ipoh has in store for us.
Costs us less than RM50!!! Can you imagine how cheap the food there is? I doubt you can find this range of price in Klang Valley especially with the duck and chicken itself has already cost a bomb.
We did our glutinous rice ball aka tong yuen together for the very first time. Yong was our sifu for the day and this is how it was done:
Viola, our masterpiece!
Enjoying my favorite “hum chim peng”…yummy yum!! Seriously, the “hum chim peng” does have volume and substance, unlike in KL, things are in mini size.
Next, we headed to the park.
My favorite shot.
Love this picture! It gives me vintage-kampung-emo kind of feeling, hahaha..
For dinner, we had Ipoh’s most famous *drum rolls, trumpet blows, applause* chicken bean sprouts hor fun!!!
Oh no, they are going to commit suicide, NOT!! Picture taken at the rooftop of Kinta City Shopping Mall.
We ended the day by watching Alvin and the chipmunks. It’s a must watch movie, that’s an understatement. If you want to have a good laugh and tickle your funny bone, this is definitely the movie for you!
