Paper lanterns

So far, my September has been amazingly occupied.  I had a long week and was pretty much caught up with many endless chores and just everyday things.  And very soon, I will be moving into a new crib, and there goes the packing and unpacking.  Just about a year and a half ago, I was rather doubtful over my own judgment but look at me now, I’m already missing that old place of mine! It somewhat feels like I just moved in yesterday! Amusingly, how fast time flies! In all honesty, compromising with my new found freedom was a tricky one, interlaced with my rebellious and irresponsible. But in the end, I turn out just fine :) Certain kinds of challenges are needed at different stages of life to make me stronger bit by bit and grow little by little, which I did.

Finally my baby project- Project 1609 had came to an end.  Started off rough but glad it ended with a good one. It was small but intimate and personal in its own way. It's often a cycle where I find myself going through the same little sequences of stress, anxious and then triumphant moments. Between stubbornness and fighter, there is a very fine line. I don't deny my occasional whine-spree but I would love to see what comes after that and everything that comes with it. Like I always say, at least I try hard enough.  I’m still exploring, experimenting something beyond what I’m doing now and Neil is right, I need to start thinking like a business person. Guess I’m still figuring the other dimensions of life.

This coming week is the Lantern festival! If you know me well, at least well enough, you would probably know how much I love pastries. Oh yes, mooncakes are not an exception here. I have an old soul and so, I fancy traditional mooncakes and paper lanterns at all time, anytime! Battery-operated ones are just...erm, uncool. This year Lantern festival, I’m looking forward to savoring in the effortless and unpretentious moments of being a kid again running around with my paper lantern of course!
