I can’t believe that we’re in the month of February now, and pretty soon we are nearing at the end of February! Mine January and February were packed with celebrations, parties, dinners and bittersweet goodbyes.
There are just so many things to sink in. In fact, I am still stinking in. On last Wednesday, I sent Ling off to airport. As expected, she made me cried. Or maybe it was the other way round. And lately the days have turned tremendously hot and the sun is just terribly scorching! Today I just had my early reunion dinner with Grandma, while the German pork knuckles are still digesting in my tummy now. Hmm hmm. And there is, of course, Chinese New Year to look forward to and ang pows to hunt down. And I simply can’t wait to sink my teeth into all the goodies!
My family does not have a big family so as usual, the first two days of hoo-ha visiting and follow by some lazy afternoons together with no plans :)
But I do have plans, sort of. Besides eat, sleep, eat more, and sleep more, I have chores to do, work needed to be done, studies to catch up, books to read, movies to watch, and letters to write. I am going to spend my one week long holidays by loving and pampering myself, that’s for sure- laze around on the couch, open up each jar, one by one, and savor each cookie. Good old love letters are still my favourite :)
